07/03/20-123County School Office may start to compile information to be included in Information Pamphlet, including consolidation plan. County School Office notifies County Elections, Recorder, and Board of Supervisors of call for election. County School Office arranges for certified translator, if necessary, printer, labeler, and mailing services (coordinating deadlines with each vendor).
07/09/20-117County School Office places PRO/CON notices in newspaper. The pro/con deadline is July 23, 2020. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO MAXIMUM OR MINIMUM LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF PRO AND CON ARGUMENTS THAT CAN BE PRINTED FOR THIS BALLOT QUESTION.ARS § 15-481
07/09/20-117County School Office starts preparing Information Pamphlet, including consolidation plan, Spanish translation, if applicable, layout, sample ballot, printing, labeling, and mailing. Districts will be responsible for all costs incurred in the preparation and mailing of pamphlet.ARS § 15-481

10/09/20-25LAST DATE FOR COUNTY SCHOOL OFFICE TO POST Election Notice. Notices are required to be posted in at least three public places in each of the school districts proposed to be consolidated at least 25 days before the election.ARS § 15-459.C
10/14/20-20County School Office files affidavit of election notice posting.
10/20/20-14County Elections performs Logic & Accuracy (L&A) test. County School Office will provide a witness to observe the L&A test. District(s) may also send a witness to observe the L&A test. Verify actual date with County Elections.ARS § 16-449
10/23/20-11Last date to request an Early Ballot to be mailed.
10/30/20-4Last day to vote early at an on-site location.
11/03/200ELECTION DAY
11/12/20County School Office and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors shall canvass the voteARS § 15-459.G.
06/30/21If a majority of the voters approve the consolidation, the consolidated school district becomes operational from and after June 30 next following the election.ARS § 15-459.G
