Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter has announced a vacancy on the Yarnell Elementary School District Governing Board.

The opening was created due to the fact that Board Member Krystal Balls and her family have relocated out of the school district. The effective date of the resignation was June 16, 2021. We greatly appreciate the service she provided to the school and the community. The position is being reposted, SINCE THERE WERE NO CANDIDATES for the position, when originally advertised. Superintendent Carter welcomes qualified candidates to apply. The position is now open until filled.

 In order to be eligible to hold this seat a person must; be a registered voter within the school district, be a citizen of the United States of America, be at least 18 years of age, possess their civil rights, have continually resided within the school district for at least one year immediately preceding taking office, and they or their spouse may not be employed by the district, or working for the district on a third party contract.
