Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Sammie Stuart to the Williamson Valley School District Governing Board. The appointment will be effective Friday, September 27, 2019 and will expire on December 31, 2020. The vacancy was due to the resignation of veteran Board Member Leanna Johnson. Mrs. Johnson’s service to the community and the school district is greatly appreciated.
Mrs. Stuart has been a resident of the Williamson Valley School District for two (2) years. She is married with two children who attend Abia Judd Elementary School in Prescott. Upon receipt of a letter of interest and a resume, he conducted an individual interview with the applicant, prior to speaking individually with each of the elected members of the Governing Board and with residents of the district.
