Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter has announced a vacancy on the Mountain Institute Career and Technology Education District (CTED) Governing Board, representing Humboldt Unified School District.
The opening was created by the fact that veteran Board Member Bryan Bullington has announced that he has purchased a home in Vail, Arizona and he will be changing his permanent address as a result, making him ineligible to continue serving. The resignation is effective on January 15, 2021. We sincerely appreciate the service that Mr. Bullington has provided to the school district and the community.
This position was posted early in the year, with no eligible candidates making application. It is being re-posted now.
In order to be eligible to hold this seat a person must; be a registered voter within the Humboldt Unified School District, be a citizen of the United States of America, be at least 18 years of age, possess their civil rights, and they or their spouse may not be employed by Mountain Institute CTED, or working for Mountain Institute CTED on a third-party contract.
Deadline for receipt of letters of interest and resumes is Friday, February 5, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Mr. Carter will interview finalists at the Mountain Institute CTED district office near the Prescott Airport on Monday, February 8, 2021. The appointment should be announced by Wednesday, February 10, 2021 and be valid from taking the oath of office through December 31, 2022.
