NEWS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Fisher to the Congress Elementary School District Governing Board. This vacancy was due to the resignation of veteran Board Member Charmaine McKaskle, who is relocating out of the school district. We greatly appreciate the service Mrs. McKaskle provided to the school and the community.

Mrs. Fisher was the only applicant for the vacancy and is returning to a Governing Board that she served on for many terms. She has been a resident of the district since 1991 and has worked at the Congress Water District for 25 years.

Superintendent Carter stated, “It was nice of Mrs. Fisher to step up and take this responsibility back on, after being off the Board for a short while”. The appointment will be effective upon taking the oath of office, currently scheduled for February 24, 2021, and will expire on December 31, 2022.
