Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter has announced two vacancies on the Beaver Creek Elementary School District Governing Board. The first opening was created by the resignation of Edward Borowski, who is relocating out of state. We appreciate Mr. Borowski’s service to the district and wish him the very best in the future. The resignation was effective September 10, 2020. This appointment will be seated on the Board as soon as possible and the term will conclude on December 31, 2022.

                   The second opening will be seated on January 1, 2021 and is due to the fact that no one ran for this seat in the most recent election cycle. The term will also conclude on December 31, 2022. To be eligible to hold this seat a person must; be a registered voter, be a citizen of the United States of America, be at least 18 years of age, possess their civil rights, have continually resided within the school district for at least one year immediately preceding taking office, and they or their spouse can not be employed by the school district or by a third party provider. Deadline for receipt of letters of interest for either position is Monday, October 5, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.  Mr. Carter will interview candidates at Beaver Creek School on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Both appointments should be announced on Friday, October 9, 2020.
