Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter has announced a vacancy on the Beaver Creek Elementary School District Governing Board. The opening was created by the resignation of Board Member Daniel Dubien, who has relocated out of the school district and is no longer eligible to serve. We appreciate Mr. Dubien’s service to the district and wish him the very best in the future. The resignation was effective August 30, 2021.

To be eligible to hold this seat a person must; be a registered voter, be a citizen of the United States of America, be at least 18 years of age, possess their civil rights, have continually resided within the school district for at least one year immediately preceding taking office, and they and their spouse cannot be employed by the school district or by a third-party provider. Deadline for receipt of letters of interest for this position is Monday, September 27, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Mr. Carter will interview candidates at Beaver Creek School on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. The appointment should be announced on Thursday, September 30, 2021 and will conclude on December 31, 2022.
